Gifts of Gab Brand Specialist

 

Casual Panache, Inc., based in Menomonie, WI, is a growing, woman owned, start-up company.  We develop, manufacture and sell consumer retail products internationally. Our goal is to develop products that simplify the integration of style into everyday life – products that create a “wow” factor.

Gifts of Gab is our newest line of creative, fun, unique and easy gift giving embellishments that will have people talking about the gift before it’s even opened.  These gossip-worthy gift trimmings will add to the anticipation and curiosity of the lucky gift recipient and enhance the gift givers experience too. 

The Brand Specialist reports to the CEO and is responsible for coordinating new product development & design, manufacturing logistics, marketing & PR, sales and customer service.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Product Production and Logistics

    • Coordinate the development cycle for new products, from conceptualization to product launch – including market research, design, sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, pricing

    • Asist with the development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and product launch strategy

    • Inventory planning and management

 

  • Marketing and PR

    • Establish and implement marketing campaign goals and strategies for the brand

    • Engage in competitive research, benchmarking, and target audience identification when developing, implementing and evaluating strategy

    • Analyze the appropriate data/metrics, insights and best practices and make strategy adjustments accordingly.

    • Concept, create, coordinate, edit and publish original content (original text, images, photos, videos) consistent with marketing and promotion strategies

    • Coordinate with external marketing and PR companies, media and influencers

 

  • Sales and Account Management

    • Assist with the development of sales targets and line budget

    • Develop goals and strategies for acquiring new accounts and growing current accounts

    • Ensure new accounts are set up in accordance with vendor manuals and CPI procedures

    • Proactively communicate with key contacts (sales reps, buyers, co-workers, etc) in a positive, supportive and efficient manner.

    • Monitor and report on metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, sales forecasting

    • Identify trends, challenges and opportunities that will foster increased sales

 

  • Customer Service

    • Strategize, implement and monitor activities and initiatives designed to provide exemplary customer service and support

    • Foster a customer-centric mindset in the workplace

    • Assess and respond accordingly to customer orders, emails, phone calls, inquiries and requests in a timely manner with professionalism and positivity

    • Monitor, analyze and report on customer/consumer feedback

 

  • Administrative and Team

    • Foster collaboration among co-workers and maintain a solution focused approach to challenges and obstacles

    • Utilize data, feedback and metrics to solve problems, improve methods and procedures and advance progress toward our goals

    • Maintain skills and effectively utilize technologies which enhance efficiency in your job

    • Manage and prioritize multiple objectives, projects and timelines

    • Demonstrate flexibility in job duties and willingness take on added responsibility when necessary

    • Maintain confidentiality

 

REQUIRED:

  • B.A. Degree in Business, Interactive Media, Cross Media Management, Emerging Media, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience

  • Master knowledge of Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

  • Understanding of marketing theory and application

  • Working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research

  • Knowledge and understanding of Social Media Marketing on variety of platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.)

  • Excellent writing and language skills

  • Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide others when necessary

  • Organized, detail oriented, driven, relatable, trustworthy and dependable

  • Able to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

 

DESIRED:

  • Marketing and/or Sales experience

  • Experience using Larger Format Printer and Plotter

  • Customer Service experience

  • Creative eye for design, attention to detail, perspective and construction

  • Functional knowledge of WordPress

  • Experience maintaining websites (working knowledge of css, html)

  • Functional knowledge of basic video editing

  • Basic technical photography skills

  • Standard hours Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00
